Brenda Black is a Minister, Life Coach, and Licensed Professional Counselor specializing in individual, couples and family therapy. She maintains a private practice in Jenks, OK. Among her areas of expertise are ministers, leaders, women, couples, and students. Brenda loves to bring hope that can only come from God, and help others rewrite their life's story.  
 

Brenda has had a variety of experiences that she draws from to help others. She was the Women’s Chaplain at a major University for 10 years, helping to train and develop thousands of young adults. Brenda served as a part of a pastoral team at two different churches. She established a foundation for developing mentors and leaders in ongoing women’s programs. Brenda has been a frequent guest and co-host on television & has also been published in a variety of articles dedicated to the empowerment and encouragement of women. As a Licensed Professional Counselor she has served underprivileged families and children as well as women that have been rescued from the sex trafficking market.  

 

Currently, Brenda has established "Hope Forward”, an organization and ministry focused on bringing healing and hope to those that need it.  She especially loves seeing God's girls find freedom and move into their divine assignments & God's plan.  Her emphasis is on helping others get “unstuck”, deal with trauma, show them how to push through disappointments, and manage life’s transitions. She also serves as a Leadership Speaker for the organization Growing Leaders, a group dedicated to this next generation's leadership development.  

 

Brenda resides with her family in Tulsa, Oklahoma where she considers her most rewarding contribution to be the growth and development of her family. She is the wife of an entrepreneur, a mom of three, bonus mom to one, and a Gummy to the cutest little pumpkin ever!!   

 

A best day ever would include coffee, cookies, and lots of giggles with her grandson.
